Durable, flame-retardant, UV-resistant vinyl facing protects the panel from the elements and delivers a clean, professional finish that holds up in Australia's harsh climate.

Sisalation Foil Backing

The same foil used to wrap Australian homes for thermal protection. Bonded to the back of every panel, it achieves group 1 fire performance classification, class 2 vapour barrier and blocks radiant heat transfer for an additional layer of performance.

Those three layers only work because of how they’re put together. Most garage door insulation products are simply loose materials inserted into a door — they shift, separate, and fail over time. Every panel is engineered specifically for garage doors, and every panel is heat-laminated using the same process applied in luxury caravan and marine interior manufacturing.

Lamination fuses the EPS core, UV-stable vinyl facing, and construction-grade sisalation foil into a single, cohesive panel. There is no glue to fail, no layers to separate, and no air bubbles to compromise performance. Verified R-Values You Can Trust

Under AS/NZS 4859.2:2018, insulation R-values used for building compliance must be calculated as system (assembly) values — not just the raw material. Most garage door insulation products only quote material values based on walls, floors, or ceilings. These numbers do not reflect how the product actually performs once installed in a moving garage door.
